How did we get our start?
Our founders Michael and Shinji met and they both became so excited when they talked about the concept of bringing Japanese snack culture to the US that they decided to start a company together. Please enjoy this journey together with us!
What makes our products unique?

About Konjac

Konjac, also known as glucomannan, is an herb that grows in parts of Japan and other countries in Asia. Gunma Prefecture is the heart of konjac country in Japan. It has the longest history as a producing region and the highest amount of production. The konjac we use in Pac Pac Snacks products comes from Gunma. |
Konjac root is known for its starchy corm, the stem that grows underground. The corm is used to make food products given it is a rich source of soluble dietary fiber. Studies have even been conducted to determine whether konjac root can help reduce LDL cholesterol. |
Konjac itself doesn’t have much of a taste. It is mainly texture. Don’t worry, we have added some of our favorite ingredients that perfectly combine with konjac to please your taste buds. |
Our Founders – Michael and Shinji
Hi, this is Michael and Shinji, founders of Pac Pac Snacks. We are excited to bring you the newest and most delicious snacks from Japan to the US market!
Each of us spent significant time in Japan. Michael worked there for six years and Shinji grew up there. Both of us have a deep love for Japan’s snack culture, and that is why decided to start our own snack company. In doing so, we are able to work with one of Japan’s beloved regional snack manufacturers, build our own brand, and create tasty, nutritious snacks for new audiences.
